Hi, I'm Armaan

I'm interested in new operating models for industrial biology and biomanufacturing.

Currently, I'm building Anomaly Bio with my best friend, Samyak, reimagining ingredient supply chains with synbio and advanced fermentation. We're backed by Pebblebed Ventures, with support from founders of Notion, Solugen, Ecovative, CaratLane and Zerodha amongst others.

Previously, I was a DST-INSPIRE SHE scholar at St. Stephen's College (<1% acceptance rate) reading Chemistry, then a Science & Technology Scholar (1 of 5) at NUS reading Chemical Engineering with Innovation & Design as a second major. I have research experience in wet lab biology at the Singapore-ETH Centre, Venkatesh Lab at IIT Bombay, and Anthology, a Church Lab spin-off in Boston.

I live in Singapore. I enjoy reading, racket sports, vipassana, sauna + ice bath, trekking and building intentional communities. Right now, I'm a novice learning to road bike, trail run and enter deeper states of meditation.
